Shira Habermehl M.S. CCC-SLP

Shira Habermehl (she/her) is a speech-language pathologist serving Chittenden County in Vermont. She graduated with a Master of Science from the University of Vermont in 2021. Shira has experience supporting students with complex communication needs at home and in inclusive classrooms to ensure that all children have a voice to advocate for their wants and needs, and build relationships with others. Shira coaches and trains school teams and families on how to best support children who use augmentative and alternative forms of communication.

When Shira is not thinking about the power AAC has to unlock a child's voice, you can find her rock climbing in Bolton or Petra Cliffs, or making pottery over at Flow State Ceramics.

Shira is based in Richmond, Vermont and provides in-person services in Richmond, Huntington, Hinesburg, Bolton, Jericho, Burlington, and South Burlington, and via telepractice (video calls) to all of Vermont.
